I have no idea what kind of sheep it was. Someone sent me a set that had to be cut off a ram because they were growing into it's face and he was having problems eating. They are heavier than they look.

I don't use brass for anything on a knife anymore and haven't for years, for the reasons you listed. I use 416 stainless these days.

Photobucket is what I have. It was a great site until some idiot decided to revise the whole thing, now it just plain sucks. The idiot is probably some big wheels grandson or somebody else that has no clue. If I can find a site I like and can transfer all my photos without losing anything...

Those handles are very easy to work with.

I'm finishing up a knife with a blade very similar. I like that blade style and profile and I've made a good number of them.
