I'm sure that Wayne is a good supplier, I know that Zoeller and Ellis are good. I've gotten durablanket from both of the latter, I liked Ellis custom knifeworks because if you get a slightly bigger piece (like for building two forges, which I did) you can get a good deal on cost per ft.

Here's my two 2x72's. They are pretty rough but I'm making them work. The green one is an OLD Olympic Square Wheel that was set up for 4x72 originally with a 3HP 3PH motor. The hollow grinder is built with a 12" contact wheel that I pulled off of an OLD "Toro" brand industrial belt...

I like water stones, although I only use them to sharpen my straight razor. They cut quickly and finely, and don't have nasty oil involved. They do cost, however. For sharpening all other knives, I generally use my 1x42, first grit belts, then a leather strop belt with green rouge. Nice and...
