I wish they still made some of the old style micarta as I love to work withy the lined stuff.You can be more creative with it. A kcouple of Knifemakers back in the day,Norm Levine and Alex Collins use to use a bunch of the White with Blue Lines or Red lines,I still have a little of both of those.

Yes it is the old Westinghouse Paper Micarta,I have enough of this pattern to do one regulars size knife and one small Knife left,And it came from Angus Cambell about 30 years ago Thank for the nice words

Travis,It is done with a Metal Checkering file.You can get them from Brownells or Jantz supply. They are expensive but have only replaced mine once in 40 years. Thanks Guys for the nice comments they are greatly appreciated
