    Good Reminder..

Deuteronomy 6:5 - 9 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you...

    Cutlery Rivets vs Pins

Hey guys, Have a question for ya. I've been asked to restore a few kitchen knives and the individual would like something other than pins to hold the handles on. I've used Corby Bolts in the past and really trust them, however, I'm no sure he wants to pay the extra amount for them. With that...

    Cutting Board

Couldn't say it better! Plastic holds bacteria too once they get cut up a little. Do you have any pictures of the naval chopping block?

    Fire Damaged Knife

The temper was pretty much shot, and I'm not sure how great of one it had to begin with. He didn't want to spend much on it so I cleaned it up for him and put on some new handles. Its more so a conversation piece than a user.

    Fire Damaged Knife

A neighbor dropped a knife blank off the other day. It was in pretty bad shape from being in a house fire, but it took some beating. All he wanted me to do was remove the surface rust and the shallow pits. The handle is Ironwood.

    Cutting Board

Thanks Ric - and it sure is!! The Birdseye has really good figure, but it doesn't show very well in the pictures. I'm making a few of them out of hard maple and purple heart and a couple of end grain ones.
