My Knives Scales are Falling Off...

I agree 100% with the Corby Bolts. I've never had one single problem with scales coming loose and I've been making knives for a long time. I swear by them.

    Combat knife design

I fully understand what you're saying Murph. I'm retired infantry and a Vietnam vet. I always carried a fixed blade knife, but it spent more time opening C ration boxes and doing other chores. I used a folder more. Besides, if I have to use a knife in combat I don't want to play.

Fine piece of work. Stag like that is becoming hard to find these days.

    guards and butt caps

I use 416 almost exclusively for guards and butt caps. I really like the stuff. It machines good and polishes up good. I'm not a big fan of brass and haven't used any in years.

    How my weekend changed...

That drill press looks like they didn't skimp on steel when they built it. That should do the job. Be interested to see how it looks after the rebuild.

Viruses, Malware, Hackers, and other BS introduced to my PC by low life scum

I had an e-mail about FedEx also and seeing as I didn't have anything coming from them I was suspicious and didn't open it. I called FedEx and they told me it was a hoax and not to open it. If I don't know who an e-mail is from these days I don't open it. I don't understand what enjoyment...

    buffer safety

I have a stand alone buffer that I put together and I'm of the opinion that it's the most dangerous thing in my shop. I won't buff anything if there's anyone in my shop that can distract me. You really have to pay attention to what you're doing or you can get seriously hurt. I may be...

working with Black & White Ebony for scales

I have a piece of the best looking black and white ebony I ever laid eyes on. It's stabilized and I picked it up at the Blade Show a couple of years ago. I've had it sitting in the shop to see if it was going to start acting like it usually does, cracking and checking, so far so good. I have...

A special fairy tale just for men........

I married a princess almost 52 years ago. I'd rather have her in my life than all the riches on the planet. She still makes me laugh and her smile lights up an entire room.

Next Knife Going To Army Pilot

Looks good to me. I like the design. I'm working on a fighter for an 82nd Airborne helicopter crew chief. He's the grandson of a close friend of mine. I like making knives for military people and I know a lot of knifemakers on this forum do that.
