    Bone Handled Fat Skinner

Dam Churchy, that thing is beautiful. Really, really nice. Neat how you reinforced the bone. They can be brittle. Looks like the lower leg bone (section just above fetlock joint). Every time I see that bone I am amazed at the form/function of the skeletal system.

    "Another 'Hawk" Combo

Cool. I love to whittle on cedar...has such a nice texture to it and smells great. You may want to add a small pocket on the other side for your cell phone for the next time you fall and can't get up. ;) Don't worry about getting old, you have plenty of time left. Just like your work..you...

    The Old Timer.......

    Soggy Bottom Knives

Those look really nice. A 50/50 blend of boiled linseed oil and Viagra will straighten those handles out.

    Finishing the blade

I have used a flat piece of sandstone from a creek to sharpen an axe and a knife. It worked at the time and it was all I had. For finishing an edge it was not fine enough of a stone but it removed metal and the blades were sharp enough. Folks in more primitive places in the world use rocks all...

    Spike Warhawk

The hawk looks great. Cool shape to the head. That antler ain't to shabby either. Is that a shed you picked up around the house?

Blacksmith Bowie with a Cowboy Touch

This knife has balls. They are on the top corner of the sheath. I feel that on a knife like this they should be bigger.

    Snake Chopper

Both knives look great. I like the sweeping lines of this one. Looks useful for killing snakes and a lot of other things. The handle on that knife looks like it has been a handle for 100 years. You are a master when it comes to "aging" a piece.

    Camp blade with maple handle

    Beautiful job on that!

    Rototiler Tines

On the next one you may want to try using the other side of the tine for your edge. As you hammer out the bevels the tip will naturally start to curve back. Sice you are starting on a curve, when you are done hammering the bevels you may have pretty close to a straight blade if that is what you...
