Hmmmmmmm I flatten them on a disk grinder but... It's bevelled. As far as getting things flat it seems to do the best job but i've always wondered if that very slight bevel could be causing some issues. Perhaps I need a flat disk grinder or hmmm I could build something.

Just what the title says. I see quite a wide variety of hamons out there and not so many images of the clay coat that produced them. I would love to see some (if anyone wants to share). Kind of a "this pattern, developed into this" I dont yet have a complete hamon but I can show the clay coat.
