    Kevin, the blade is a little over 10". I really have not taken it for a "spin" so-to-speak, around the wood pile but it feels good in the hand and has a decent balance. Thanks for taking a look.

    Thanks for the look Guys. Jonathan, this hawk is forged from a 24 oz head. I've never tried to make a hawk from a 12 oz head but you can do it I'm sure. Mostly I use 20, 24 and 32 oz heads.
