nother question - what size neck opening do you fellas have on your dewars? is a 2" opening OK? or should I get the 5"? I am told that the 5" won't hold the liquid as long.

mobile1 I tried it, I liked it! What do you use Frank to get inside the grind of a hollow ground knife? I use a 8 or 10" wheel. I tried last night with a rubber pad using finger pressure but saw quickly that I was loosing line crispness. Any suggestions? Thanks-

I have found a source for liq N, now I need a dewar. What sizes should I be looking for? How much is enough capacity (Liters) is needed to do the job? Then, once I get one, what is the procedure- do I tie some SS wire to the knife blade and lower it into the liq N, or suspend above it or is...

I had a great time with my family. It started with Santa at home, went to in-laws and continued there. Highlights for me, besides watching the kids of course, were when I got several knifemaking tools from my lovely bride! Then continued when my sister-in-law beamed over her new kitchen knife...

-for now I plan on changing it slightly for 2010, IMG did the first one, who is a good alternative to consider for a re-do?
