Thanks guys. I have a slip joint that I made out of it, and just ground out a 8" bowie that I have to send out for heat treat. I love the pocket knife I can go about two weeks with out sharpening but it is still pretty sharp I just like mine to be extremly sharp.

.125 52100 blade steel flat ground and hand sanded to 400 grit. Black G-10 and 3\16 corby style bolts all sanded to 220 grit. Blade length is 3.5" sharpened. Handle is 4". Overall length is 8". Black USMC dyed hand stitched sheath.

What are you guys that are using CPM M4 steel getting your blades rc hardness to for pocket knives. I made one out of it and had it treated to 60 rc and I like it but dont know if I am getting all I can get out of it.
