Thanks man my bearings went out and I had to destroy the wheel because it was presses on dont know why but it is what it is. I am thinking about a new motor with a 5/8 shaft so I can get a rubberized drive wheel.

Does anyone know where I can get a 4" drive wheel with a 1.125 bore?

I just bought a smithy lathe drill mill combo and was wondering does any one know anything about this machine. It is in pretty good shape and every thing on it works but didnt come with any collets and was wondering how you tell which collet size to buy. Only paid 150.00 for it.

Yes sir it was a little to flat at the tang end and the spring was set a little to weak. What was happening was when you closed the blade it would close but it would kick back up a little and I would have to push it back down.

Hey guys I just finished a folding hunter slip joint made out of 3/32 1095 for the blade and spring. It has good snap open and closing and is a little stiff like the guy wants but when I close it the blade pops back up about an 1/8 of an inch. If any one can help I would appreciate it.

I was wondering how much thicker you guys leave your bushings than the blade and when you peen the pins do you put shims in between the liners and the blade or do not use shims?
