Does any one have any advise on screwing titanuim bolsters on from the back side of the liners on a slipjoint pocket knife. I dont want to screw them on from the front because it just doesn't look right on a slippie to me. And if so do you jb weld over the screws or just leave them alone. any...

Hey guys I am using 410 stainless steel for bolsters on a slip joint and the last time I spot welded them when I finished the knife you could see the little dots where they were spot welded. Does any one know what I might be able to do to get rid of this problem, or do I just have to live with it.

What grit do you guys take your blades before bead blasting. And one other thing can you bead blast carbon fiber like you can micarta?

Thanks man. And yes it is very sharp. I made a pocket knife out of m4 and I am not impressed at all. Will stick to 52100 from now on for all of my carbon steel knives.

Hey guys I just recently finished a pocket knife out of m4 and sent it to peters heat treat and got the blade hardened to 60rc and had it cyro treated. My question is the blade doesnt seem to hold an edge as good as some pocket knives I have made out of 1095 hardened to 60rc an cryo from peters...

Just finished this one today. It is 52100 with 416 stainless steel bolsters and coca bola handle scales hand rubbed to 600 grit. Hand sticthed sheath with deer tine lock.
